Elaine Mintzer was born in Los Angeles. She received a BA in Creative Writing from UCLA and an MS in Education from USC. Her work has been anthologized in 13 Los Angeles Poets. Ms. Mintzer wrote poetry for, and read with, the performances of the dance company Ballet Randolph in Miami Beach. She lives with her family in Manhattan Beach, CA and teaches at a nearby high school.
